So do we not pay attention to the NAM? It shows Nola getting 24” of rain and BR getting 14.5”

Depends. Is it elevated and strong enough to handle 150mph winds?

Short term forecasts is what it is designed for.

It’s elevated. They added a new upper deck to it last year. A storm last year caused it to lean ever so slightly. It probably needed some extra bracing which they never put on. Praying that doesn’t get absolutely thrown around.

Ida is taking the path that puts both BR and New Orleans in a real pickle. That’s pretty rare for LA storms.
