New track straight through Houma

It’s going down Park Ave like a Mardi Gras parade on its way to Thibodaux.

4pm update slightly east at landfall going directly over Houma now.

Still looks pretty clear on zoom.earth the storm is sticking east of forecasted track

I wouldn't be too optimistic about it if its leaning already. It takes really deep piles and really good construction for a regular stud wall camp to hold up to 130+mph sustained winds.

1 pm landfall is a bit earlier. Not sure if that’s good news or not but I’ll ride with the theory that it is less time to strengthen.

I'm just glad that the worst of it for me will likely be in the late evening rather than 2 am.
