This is exactly why I left Prairieville. If you live in Prairieville and don’t have a generator then I feel really bad for you if you didn’t leave.

Holy shite, weather Channel just said more likely to be a CAT 2 than a 4.

Yet every headline is saying a 4, if this thing turns out to be a nothing storm.

How do y’all think Grand Isle is going to fare in this? It’s crazy how many hurricanes that place can go through, yet still be here today. Same with Cocodrie. I guess the gulf will probably be all the way to the floodgates at Golden Meadow, from the storm surge. Really hoping for the best for all my people in Golden Meadow and south of it.

Probably evacuating to facilities that will have power after the storm.

True, but I won’t be in those facilities, I’ll be in a hotel...

I do have the option of heading to Tuscaloosa so I’m really considering that

Just can’t shake the feeling that I’m abandoning my wife. I’m honestly lost right now

Dude on WWLTV literally just said one of the best ways to prepare is get the vaccine. Like wtf.

One of the worst times to get the vaccine. Planning on being isolated for a few days and you voluntarily take something that could make you feel sick?

Is there any recon data? No way this thing is still at only 80mph from the 4am update looking at the satellite

Recon has seemed very slow for this storm. Usually at this point we get data every 30 minutes from hurricane hunters

TWC just reported that there’s a consensus among all models that intensity forecasts are dropping.

They are dumb for saying that at the moment

Destroya should have put in a mandatory evacuation yesterday for New Orleans. No contraflow plan in order. The interstates are jammed right now. What is it with liberals and not knowing how to devise a plan?

Left New Orleans this morning at 5:15 and there was no traffic. Traffic was backing up at the I-10/I-59 split when we turned north but I-59 was clear.

Weird to be mad about that.

I hope the motherfricker disintegrates.

The traffic map heading east looks like a nightmare now

I was watching the weather channel and didn’t hear that. But awesome if it comes in at a 2.

Yesterday the noaa map had ida reaching cat 3 by 11 am today. I know that forecast has changed from the 10 pm to 4 am chart. I’m cool with a ida turning into a tropical depression before getting here

If they ship out refugees, I mean evacuees, from New Orleans after the storm, where will they go this time?
