Just gonna completely write off In-Laws like that?

I'm currently feuding with in-laws because their fish bites ain't nothing but crumbs.

They also tell me to pull up and forget about me- beignet fries are worth the wait.

They Crawfish Boudin is doo doo.

Pork Steak is served 4 nights a week.

I’m heading to Dulac tomorrow to do some pick up at the camp. How bad can I expect traffic to be coming from Houma to BR tomorrow afternoon?

I think it’s going to get pretty scary for a while.

If you were on vacation in Florida, what time tomorrow would you leave to head back to Lafayette (area) and beat the storm's path?

If you leave at 10am you’d have 28hrs to get back before landfall

You would have a lot less time until tropical storm force winds reach I-10

That should leave you atleast 2-3 hours of free time after you spend a day in tunnel traffic

If you had to chose between staying Uptown NOLA where there wasn't even an inch of standing water for Zeta or pack up the dog and cat and all belongings and go to BR, what would it be?

So do you want to get sodomized by a pineapple or frick this here beehive?

(New Orleans looks like the better bet, but it still has plenty of potential to go very bad there)

Surge around Nola is a big concern especially 15ft or more going up the MS river

15 feet at the mouth doesn’t necessarily mean 15 ft at the Carrollton gage.

If there are any readers who feel like torturing themselves, fantasticland is a fun hurricane related read.

If you have a generator, and aren’t prone to flooding, there really isn’t a reason to leave metairie if things hold

Unless there is a significant eastward shift, I’m hunkering down in Nola. Not worried about my house flooding (moving our vehicles) and the generator is ready to roll.
