There were two different zulu times - the first one had lower totals, but then another one a few minutes later still had the high amounts

Where you put your car when we have heavy rain? I sometimes go on Neutral ground near Fountainbleau/Audubon

Lucky to have a driveway that’s a little elevated, but that spot you mentioned is a good one.

Question for anyone: Any idea where I can find a 4-prong generator plug and/or cord at this time of day? Denham Springs area.

I've got a Home Depot special that I made work during the ice storm a few months back, but I'd like something that fits a little better this time around.

Buddy of mine suggested the KOA campground as a possibility. No answer when I call over there--any idea if that's something they would have?

There is. That's a good idea--hadn't thought about them.

Eta: It is. You're just reading the graphic wrong. But I love that you are looking for the optimism in all of this right now

It appears the first map must have uploaded wrong. It definitely showed much lower rain totals but it’s been fixed now back to 10-15

One of the best things I ever did for keeping up with Zulu time was download a World Clock app or they also have Zulu clock apps. I have a widget on my homescreen.

Can you see if this is the mistake and they can fix it back? Asking for all of my Louisiana friends

That's a shite show pretty much every day.

May God have mercy on any of you having to drive that in the next 36 hours.

For anyone that’s heading west to Houston or beyond and that doesn’t want to sit in that inevitable cluster that is Orange to Beaumont, TX….
Take the Cameron exit (Exit 20) in Sulphur and head down Highway 27 south all the way to Holly Beach. Drive to the Gulf of Mexico until you can’t drive anymore. Take a right and head to into Port Arthur and it’ll spit you out on the other side of Beaumont.

It’s not much to look at and you’ll be in the middle of a marsh for about an hour or so, but it’s better than sitting in a 4 hour gridlock on the interstate in Orange, TX.
