I'm not familiar with Mississippi. You mean the Landmass?

Yeah
F them

Just watched the local fox 8 and they had and awesome graphic showing how much the gfs and euro are in sync.

Both have it coming in Sunday morning with gfs coming in @9am and euro a bit later but almost the same landfall just east of grand isle with the euro a bit more east of that. Around fourchon.

Now the interesting thing is the agreement in these 2 models now that the hunters are flying around. The data must be pretty strong.

Both models predicting cat 2.
Condistions appear to be good for development.

GFS has been consistently bullish towards the east compared to the other models

Same here. Saw the forecast and told Mrs. FCP that I'd be stopping by Wally World last night. Asked if she needed anything for storm prep. No response. Fast forward 24 hours, and she just gave me a list of things to pick up tonight while she's at church.

After I specifically took steps to avoid the GD madding crowds.

The plane is flying back into the storm. The center appears to be reforming slightly further north; thus a slightly more easterly course.

Be careful assuming the exact nature and orientation of the ridge though.

GFS is almost always east.

Seems to be pretty much where we thought it was.

Same thing would have happened if it was still likely coming here. I feel you

That's bad info, whatever they're using.

The 12z Euro has it coming right to the mouth of the Atchafalaya at 1AM Monday morning.
