I know for certain we had one touch down in Maurepas. Metal roof twisted like a fruit roll up sticking straight up in the air.

So where's Rd at with the 91L thread now that it's got a pretty decent chance of impacting south Louisiana?

Not really
Euro operational, gefs ensembles, gfs are showing most of impacts east of LA
Plaqumines could see some effects
All depends on front timing

You wouldnt even notice, if not for SELA not in a condition to take even a very weak system.

How bad of an idea is it to transport gas can in the trunk of Toyota Camry? I am in Metairie and parents are in Galliano. Gas is scarce down there. I can get a can and gas in NO but not sure about transporting it (would obviously easier if had a truck). Not sure about fumes, spill, or danger if in accident

I mean, it wouldn’t be great if you got in a wreck but otherwise you’ll be fine. If you smell fumes just roll down the window.

I've done it plenty of times but I usually set the gas can in a Rubbermaid tote and make sure there it can't tip over. Most gas cans will leak a little and you don't want that mess in your car. Other than that, no problemo.
