CofC is closed for the week as of 14 minutes ago. Traffic is gridlocked in Charleston all the way to Columbia. Nikki is reversing all lanes of I26 tomorrow at 3. Thankfully it looks like the storm surge won't be anywhere near the 12-14 ft we had for Hugo. And the King tide isn't until the 15th/16th.
fricking south Atlantic bite. People don't realize that SC and GA have huge tides comepared to the rest of the south because of the bite.

Florida does not seem to be taking this seriously. They have less then two days before they get hit and they haven't evacuated yet. Recipe for disaster growing

SC athletic department put out a statement saying game still on as scheduled and they are working with UGA and SEC to monitor the situation.

My best guess at a contingency plan would be to play the game either at USCe on Thursday or at the Georgia Dome on Friday or Saturday.

Georgia State game could be bumped up to noon from 3:30 and have Georgia/South Carolina play at regularly scheduled time

I've been to Castaway Cay. That place is flatter than Taylor Swift's arse. If that hurricane hits it with a 10' storm surge then those people are as good as dead. They need to get off that island.

They've all been evacuated from castaway cay.

Also this cyclone isn't supposed to ride up the east coast as previously predicted. FL will get the worst of it then it will spit out to sea

Was wondering that too. He hasn't checked in in a while. I'm guessing he lost power.
