I think you're correct.

Florida is looking at a catastrophe.

I have a vacation house at St Augustine beach. I think it's going to get destroyed.

Good question. Florida's coast needs to start an evacuation tomorrow in order to safely move that many people.

So far, they've done nothing.

I still have work tomorrow at the Charleston VA with patients scheduled. As of 5:30 VA hadn't announced any closing plans before Saturday. Being the government, they'll probably come to a decision on Monday.

They started. Governor came on earlier and said to get out and will prolly start contraflow tomorrow.

How's the gas supply around the Georgia/Alabama area now? With that many people evacuating gas will be a big issue especially if they are still running low/short due to the spill.

was on weather channel earlier and said if you can evac start doing it and someone asked about contraflow. said it is in the plans.

Fine around Metro ATL

Going to South GA tonight so I'll let you know if it seems to be an issue

GFS at 2 AM EDT Friday and 8AM EDT Friday...a little closer to the coast...
