In his defense, I've had the same girl in my neighborhood completely ignore the four way stop twice. As in I was stopped, she was rolling up, I started to go...and she just kept coming. The first time she almost hit me. The second time I thought "there's no way she does it again", but yup...did it again.

There’s nothing people in traffic love more than to wave people over. Going 60 down a highway? Just randomly stop and wave someone out of a parking lot then keep going

I usually just go ahead and act like they weren't there, then blare my horn when they (finally) pull out in front of me.

Did we ever get a ruling on if we have to stop at a stop sign that doesn't have that stamp thing on the back? I've been giving them sort of a California Roll n Go but haven't been stopped to test out the theory.

Sometimes on a narrow street it's better to let the other driver go first even though you have the right of way. Example, I want to make a left turn and a driver is stopped on the street I'm turning into.

I get what other posters are saying about wanting to be sure the car approaching the 4-way stop will actually stop, but come on, sometimes it's pretty obvious I'm decelerating and looking at you to go. No need to watch me come to a complete stop before you're sure I'm stopping

Yeah I truly don't understand why people don't get this one. Everyone else is already having to wait for the one car to go, having you both go is just more efficient.
I'll add my own petpeeve:
If I'm on foot waiting to cross the street and there's a line of say 5 cars coming, I expect to wait until all 5 have passed, then I can cross at my leisure. Instead, dumbass in car #5 slows down and waves me across thinking she's being nice. Just fricking go, I have the all clear as soon as you pass. Now I'm confused, you're having to sit there waiting for me to speed-walk across the street, and I'm left wondering why we went through all that when it wasn't necessary
