I remember getting an Atari with Pong, Frogger, PAC Man, and some other popular games I forget. The Atari came with a multi-game cartridge. This was Christmas 1982? 83?

When is the last time you were so happy & excited that you ran around the house in happy tears? It has to be awesome to feel that way!

If that were posted today, the little brother would be crucified on social media.

He is playing with the duck hunt gun and pretending to shoot people with it like it's a toy or something. SMH.....

He also said “I don’t wanna play with that!” to try to dampen his brother’s excitement. Little bastard.

The kid going into the room and bringing out his Nintendo-savings money to give to his Dad was awesome.

My bday is in October. My Aunt didnt know the difference between Nintendo & Atari and bought me Kung Fu for my bday when I didn't have a nintendo yet. I cried for a week straight, . I was too young to understand why my mom wouldn't just return it and get me an atari game...

Two months later the nintendo was under the tree for Xmas.

Great times

My mom and dad couldn’t find a NES so they got me an original SEGA back in 87 for Xmas

I didn’t know what the hell it was and my friends gave me shite until they came over and realized that you could play 2 players on double dragon for SEGA only. Then I was the big man on campus. Lol

I remember getting mine for Christmas. the GOAT Christmas present. I was beyond ecstatic.

Yep. It was awesome. Pretty sure mine came with just Mario/duck hunt. I got the glove like a year or so later and that thing never worked very well.

That was a well behaved kid. I'd of lost my shite if my brother would've started playing with the gun without asking me.

Reminds me of the year I was all about remote control cars and was wishing for a grasshopper but knew they were too expensive so I picked out some piece of shite out of the Sears toy catalog to ask for.

Christmas morning I woke up and had both under the tree. Was a happy mfer for at least the next year.
