Its all over the news the system is crewed up. The question is, who will trump blame?
If I was Trump, I'd blame the cap that did the OP's return or the crew that's working on the system.

Anyone else getting this message?
I think it's just you

Shouldn’t matter because they’re not due yet. They’d use 2018
I know. I was just curious if they filed 2019 yet.

How are they determining the order that the checks are distributed in?
Posted on 4/15/20 at 3:57 pm to beef42
I got the same message and haven’t filed 2019 taxes yet.

I’m ignorant how that means you file your taxes but assume that means you file separate? If so did your partner get their stimulus? Maybe there’s a delay trigger for multiple filings from identical addresses.

Not sure how true this is but everyone I know that got a deposit has already submitted their 2019 taxes. Everyone that is relying on 2018 returns gets the message in the OP.

Got mine this AM. Going towards credit cards
I didn't get mine, and someone mentioned there's a tracker. When I went to check on mine, it said they didn't have my bank account info.
Kinda weird because I paid my taxes directly from my bank, but apparently they only store the info if you received a refund? Whatever. They let me update my bank info and now the tracker says I will be paid there.
So just FYI to anyone - You can log into the tracker and update bank info.

We are just below cutoff and got same message.

How do you log into the tracker?
Posted on 4/15/20 at 4:21 pm to LouisianaLady
I filed 2019 taxes a few weeks ago, but haven’t got my refund yet. I logged on the portal about 6am this morning and the checking account they sent my check to was closed about 6 months ago, but since it was the checking account on my 2018 tax filing, I’m screwed.
Do you have a link where I can change my bank info on the irs website?
Thanks!

This is all Trump's fault. Because reasons.
Orange man bad.

Where did you read that message? The IRS is putting up an app this Friday to check your stimulus check status. They have an app now but it does NOT cover stimulus checks.

It looks like a lot of people are getting the same message.
Tracking tool isn't working
Edit: the article says the system is overloaded and that's the message that it gives.

You mean girlfriend? Or boyfriend? Or f-buddy?
Never understood this “partner” stuff.

This.
Even if you owe back taxes and didn't file they will pay. You just need a ssn. The ONLY disqualifier for someone under the threshold is child support. Those payments will automatically go to the child support.

We file separate. Neither of us filed this year yet. My wife got hers.
