Tracking tool isn't working
Edit: the article says the system is overloaded and that's the message that it gives.
Worked fine for me. The regular IRS portal was crashing a good bit, but the tracker worked totally fine. I did it about an hour ago. The tracker is separate from the regular IRS portal.
Used Firefox. Was having issues with Chrome.

I filed 2019 taxes a few weeks ago, but haven’t got my refund yet. I logged on the portal about 6am this morning and the checking account they sent my check to was closed about 6 months ago, but since it was the checking account on my 2018 tax filing, I’m screwed.
Do you have a link where I can change my bank info on the irs website?
Thanks!
Lots of people on Reddit with this problem. Unfortunately, you won't be able to edit :( It is only if they had nothing on file that you can add one. If you had something on file, you're SOL.
Only option is paper check. It will get to you eventually, but who knows when.

I didn't get mine, and someone mentioned there's a tracker. When I went to check on mine, it said they didn't have my bank account info.
Same. They asked for AGI and amount I paid last year, along with bank routing and account numbers. I put all that in and I got a message saying that the information didn’t match their records. I’ve had the same bank account for 15 years.

Interesting. I did all of that, but it accepted it. I already filed 2019, so I had it handy.
