I knew this would happen when Get Gordon signs went up there. Dude got more cases in 1 day than Morris Bart had all last year. G

Meh, this is kind of like a 900 case day in Louisiana. High, but not terribly concerning. Especially if there are a lot of asymptomatic young people as seems to be the case. Am aware of several young people here in AL who have tested positive. All have no or very light symptoms. I'm sorry if it distresses you, but there is no way past this other than to let the virus burn through and develop some immunity in the population.

From a new WSJ article, new cases per 100,000 population on June 23:

Florida - 15.3
Louisiana - 29.3

thats because Louisiana people are catching in Florida and bringing it back to Louisiana.

I know of at least 30 people that came back from Florida and tested for corona in Louisiana a few days to a week later

But just one new case and the mayor will shut down the island
He’s done it before
But that was before summer officially started
Would be interesting to see what he’d do

I just want to know when Louisiana is going to have a check point and make them fill out paperwork. I know they probably don’t even want to come here but let’s give em hell even just for driving through. frick em.

The water is beautiful and the weather is perfect.

Wasn’t there just a thread about how OP wanted DeSantis as the governor of Louisiana?

Rented two places back in January to meet our elderly family members so they could visit our kids this July. It was 10K, we rented through a property company, and have been asking for a refund since March. I am a taking care of Covid pts in California. This morning the company told me I could not get a refund but to please not tell anyone I was from California and get exposed at work. So we are coming. I would be willing to cancel but not without a refund.

when are people going to stop freaking out about new cases....who gives a shite is some healthy baw gets the a positive test. you should be judging it based on new hospitalizations.

This is the only answer. You can pick out the useful idiots who buy the scare tactics on here easily. If the communist media would quit running stories about this bullshite no one would give it a second thought.
