It's a 4% or 5% reduction that probably does more harm than good. It invetivizes irresponsible spending for a tiny discount.

This state needs to fricking revolt. I know the sales tax holiday isn’t some big deal, but it’s just one more way our “representatives” frick all of us while increasing their own cash flow.

Mississippi isn't much of a drive from here, and they're not canceling their tax holidays. I'm sure retailers over there will be glad for the added revenue.

You'd spend more money in gas than you'd save.

Stop voting for the same guys over and over again. We always complain about the legislators as a whole, but we somehow seem to exempt our own rep in the district we live in. Vote all of them out; every single incumbent needs to go. Rep and Senator.

Umm, no.
If you wait a few weeks to save $250, you're smart.
If you buy something you're going to buy anyway, and you do it on a weekend that saves you 5% more, you're also smart.
