I can tell you that there are thousands of Mandies uptown. Their bubble is massive and impenetrable. They are married to lawyers, bankers, and other professionals who can provide them a comfortable living. They are either housewives or the second income (giving them flexibility in their schedule, because my God a person can only wear so many hats). They go to yoga and drink lattes, and have play dates with their like-minded friends. They bond over politics but only on a superficial level, because they really don’t understand politics, or economics, or how the world actually works. They drive German SUV’s, get laser treatments on their faces, and worry desperately about staying hot, despite they fact that they are repulsed by the thought of putting a dick in their mouth.
