THIS frickING RIGHT HERE ! Most of the repukes in the legislature are only (R) b/c they couldn't win in their district running as a democrat. They care about their political future and what they can do to enrich their family. These fricks don't need to vote on shite, just sign a petition and have the "emergency declaration" repealed. But they won't do jack shite ! Look up the 22 Republicans that voted against the conservatives to give Clay Shex the speakership. They cut a deal w/ JBE and the BLACK CAUCUS to put themselves in power and screwed the rest of Louisiana. frick these bastards !

I'm not voting for my incumbent "R" representative next go around. I'll try my luck with ANY other Republican on the ballot.
Me either. Mine didn’t sign the petition.
And I will make it my business to actively campaign for one of his opponents.
These Republicans in the Senate and House are a bunch of pussies. Im like you i will campaign against everyone of them should they run again.

I'm going to call BS on that. More scare tactics.
Trump can order FEMA to hand out Halloween candy on Easter if he really has to.
I hope you're right ... now, I gotta find a recall signing spot for tomorrow. If the legislature won't do squat, let the people get it done. Or at least give it the best effort.

...attacking JBE shows you’re madder at the D in front of his name than the actual lockdowns.

Find the Facebook page for your parish. They should be posting where they'll be every day.
Just search "recall john bel edwards" and it should pull up the main recall page which will have links for each parish to point you in the direction you need to head.

I've emailed every one of them telling them how pissed I am.
Not that they care, they could've ended this months ago

This.
Instead of being mad at the governor for implementing these rules. You should be more pissed at the fact that Louisiana is several weeks behind most states in the reopening plan.
We’ve had a 10pm curfew where I’m at for several weeks. To be honest, it’s not that big of a deal.

LINK for recall by parish
How long do we have to sign the petition?
I just moved & changed my address / voter registration
Not sure how long it takes to get new card

The signing place around the corner from my house says to bring your DL. Of course, I don’t know if you’ve updated that yet.
Check the GeauxVote app, see if you’ve been updated. That may be enough.

They are currently under the American flag by Lakeside mall for Jeff Parish residents. They can look up your voter registration if you don't know it.

JMLi think it’s 180 days from September 1. So you’ve got time.

I can assure you Alabama and Florida do not have the same restrictions as Louisiana.

And that makes it ok?

Serious question. What incentive would all these governors have, to do what is being done?
You think they enjoy having to shut shite down and stop people from living a normal life?
If they would have done nothing and then this NOVEL virus (you know, they don't know if it can evolve and get worse, etc, etc) got out of control, people die, get sick with long term damage, etc then everyone would be complaining about how "the government don't care about us, they didn't do anything".
No matter what they do, there will be people bitching.

If they want to get a recall election on the March ballot, they've got to get all their signatures in roughly ten weeks to leave enough time to make the deadlines. Add four weeks or so to get it on the April ballot. Past that, you use the full six months because the next available election after those two dates is November 2021.

We know it's not the fricking plague they made it out to be at the beginning, yet they're doing nothing but increasing their grip on everyone's nuts, you simple motherfricker.
