Starbucks announced Monday that it is closing at least 16 stores across America due to reports of drug use and other safety concerns.

The company will close six stores each in Seattle and Los Angeles, and two more in the Portland area, according to the Wall Street Journal. One store in Washington, D.C. and another in Philadelphia will also close by the end of July, the outlet continued.

Starbucks reportedly received complaints about drug use by customers in some of their locations, WSJ continued.

why is the west coast so much worse than the rest of the country when it comes to this stuff? other cities and areas have the same politics, elected officials, and even less favorable demographics

Can the store managers not get customers to stop using drugs in their stores?

"Hey, get out of here with that drug use!"

Is that too much, or does that infringe on the liberals?

The Grind, a local group of drive through coffee shops lets the girls carry firearms.

One had to use it to save herself a couple years ago.

It’s the weather out there. Always been.

Think of the type of person that would quit their job, leave their family and friends to move somewhere with no job just bc the weather is nice and they like drugs.

Now imagine they raised kids and grandkids. Now you have the west coast population

In those cities, store managers would be sued for harassment and then fired.
