i seem to remember another time where this ultimatum thrown around a lot. let's see if those espousing it then, will show up in this thread.
They’ll deny it all and then self identify as a “true conservative”

I'm not sure what this really accomplishes for Starbucks if they can still wear pride pins and have green hair and nose rings and ladybeards

Does it bother anyone else that people have become more and more incapable of sharing their thoughts in any public setting without reading something from their phone?
People have notes that they refer to when presenting at a meeting and have been doing so since like forever. No that doesn’t bother me in the least. Phones have replaced paper in this scenario grandpa.

I’m not talking about for long speeches. I’m talking about something like in this video. It’s pathetic.

So they can wear black jeans or Khaki slacks with any black T-shirt and they are complaining.
Astounding.
Astounding.

It's just coffee
Tastes like shite no matter what they wear

Looks like they are just having them wear a solid black shirt.

The more defined color palette includes any solid black short and long-sleeved crewneck, collared, or button-up shirts and any shade of khaki, black, or blue denim bottoms. We’re also making a new line of company branded t-shirts available to partners, who will receive two at no cost – including partner network options.
I'm thinking it was going to be some corporate, bullshite dress code, but this isn't even bad. Whatever gender the person identifies as in the video is damn near within new dress code guidelines...what's the problem

more history rewriting by our Moderate OT Members. Just like their most recent attempt to pretend they all knew all along Biden wasn’t mentally capable of running for President in 2024.

I don't think not looking like a sloppy freak show gender goblin while serving food is too much to ask.

God I hate the corporate BS in that release. Just say what you mean. There’s so much sugar coating jn there and buzzwords hoping the employees don’t realize they’re being stifled because they’re getting too annoying with their choices

the PR flack that wrote that new dress code is very good at his job. It calls out what you CAN wear, not what you CANT
well done
well done

Who fricking drinks that shite anymore? Theirs much better chain coffee stores available than that now and I can buy better stuff at RACETRACK than they make?

I worked at Starbucks many years ago and I would have killed for this dress code. What is their issue with it?

They are most certainly not.
The “future” has his/her head down, is working and studying so you’re not going to catch him or her in some stupid woke tick tok video.
Those people will go on to be functional adults with families…the freaks in the OP will continue being anti-work, anti-family weirdos that will die off alone in a house full of cats.

Shim is entitled to a job at Starbucks. Because no other company is going to allow that circus freak to work there.

I have no sympathy on this one. It's a pretty standard dress code (black tops, khaki/black/blue denim bottoms).
When our high school switched to uniforms my Junior year we had orange, black, and white polos with khaki or black dress pants (shorts and skirts were allowed the next year). With only all white or all black tennis shoes.
Trying to find an orange polo in the late 90s was miserable.
