Any recommendations for best standing desk and/or converter? I know that Varidesk often gets the most publicity, probably due to their heavy marketing presence - just curious as to OT'ers experience with this product and or different products in the real world.

I simply don't like sitting at desk - at least for not any length of time and figured this might be something that I could look into.

I bought this one and love it. Sturdy, lots of room, and is as easy to use as advertised. Don't regret the purchase one bit.

You imagine standing is better? You might want to research this notion first. Beyond the first page Google results you've done so far.

Standing while on the phone is best. Your voice comes across much more confident, you can be a little more animated while you talk which conveys more confidence for the person on the other end of the call. And it's a little healthier for you to stand than to sit. Works out your core a tad bit and every little bit is better than sitting.

I highly recommend you try standing while working. You will be amazed at the difference.

I bought whatever base popped up that I liked when I searched on Amazon, and bought a big slab of wooden countertop at IKEA. Bolted everything together and it looks and works great.

Fancier Studio....Amazon Knock off

Been using for over 2 years, and I switch from standing to sitting about 2-3 per day. No complaints.

We bought Versadesks for our entire staff. They were motorized and affordable compared to varidesk.

Having two monitors that aren’t the same would drive me up a wall.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be at first. I do my important stuff on the bigger monitor. That's why the OT is on that one

It's pathetic that you believe that nonsense.

My work doesn't involve much sitting as it is, maybe your lazy arse should try it, might drop 20lbs over the Summer.
