Did you see him with Hannity talking about Imus?
He will always be legend to me for working "donkey punch" into his argument during a debate on Fox News.

quote:Okay, unless you tell us who you’ve considered funny in the past, we have no idea what your sense of “funny” is.
The women talk about sex. The fat ones talk about weight/diets. The minorities talk about race and the “men” talk about being gay. Rinse. Wash. Repeat.
Name your favorites from the past.

He was so quick and smart. He bated conversation like no one has ever done. Really lost a brilliant mind.

Seeing them in person and seeing them on netflix are two totally different things. I saw Louis CK right before he got #metoo'd and my stomach hurt after I was laughing so hard. Louis Ck 2017 is the comedy special, I believe it's still on netflix

It is a real sin to silence someone as funny as he. But he apparently crossed the line multiple times. Ugly ginger trying to get laid. If he is a dirt bag, he deserves it. I don’t know. Just want the funniest guy back.

Dave Chapelle's TV show is one of the most ridiculously overpraised things I've ever seen. But I've never seen
Kill yoself.

what really sucks is the stuff he did after the show. You know the stuff he was working on for his next special that never happened was probably the funniest material of the night

Every clip I've ever seen of that show is incredibly obvious jokes masquerading as satire. To even compare him to someone like Richard Pryor is the most offensive sort of sacrilege.

I've never seen his standup, so I can't comment on that.
Sticks and Stones is very funny.

Have you seen the racial draft sketch? Clayton Bigsby? The I Know Black People game show?
Edit: Also True Hollywood Stories.

I didn't find it funny or even satiric. It's like satire for people who've never heard of Pryor.

Would you mind watching a 6 minute sketch and tell me what you think? True Hollywood Stories (Prince) w/ Charlie Murphy

Plenty are. Stop watching the ones buzzfeed and Vox tell you are funny

I agree.
Most comedians are depressed losers desperate for some attention / validation. Come across as try-hards that aren't funny and it's easier to be embarrassed for them than to actually laugh.

He's somewhat right in that theres nothing more painfully predictable than 99.9% of female stand ups
I'll assume its true of the pregnant chinese one netflix has been using as a screensaver for the last year
