All the responses so far trash this. I agree traffic is already a problem in this area just like most louisiana higher populated areas. So are we sure this is an area for consumer stores? And what do we do other than contact our representatives?

Because St. Tammany Parish is being run now by folks who are bought-and-paid for by the real estate development lobby. The parish was much nicer before it became North NOLA.

It's not for consumer stores. That's right next to future site of the technical college that should start construction in the next couple months. Also, the new sheriff's office dispatch/911 building is going to be out there as well. It should very much be a new industrial area.

What's the latest with it? It is STT were everyone is bought and paid for so it will get pushed through. The parish is already trashed, might as well give it the death blows.
