I didn't read all of the posts in this thread, so I can only speak for myself and my own opinion.
You literally said:

I am 100% against censorship but the movement against these books is not necessarily that.
Do you usually refer to your own opinions as the movement?

I don't care that these books might be donated by someone and end up on the shelf somewhere if someone digs and seeks it out. I care that libraries are making the decision to push it.
Example: Mein Kampf should be carried by libraries, it's a historically important book. But if I walked into a public library and saw a Hitler impersonator scheduled to read it and a bunch of copies of Nazi era propaganda put out on display I'd question what's going on. And my questioning that wouldn't be "censorship"
Say it louder for those in the back.
The taxpaying public has every right weather or not they want to pay for this. Again, next time it comes up, vote no. Tell others, spread the word.

If you wish to debate me, why don't you directly address one of my points, instead of trying to tie my opinion to the opinions of others through deliberate contortion of my words?

FTR - I am/was a librarian - I quit public libraries bc I’m very conservative and I have staunch principles when it comes to sexualization and children
But there are many, many people who need the public library - just because you don’t doesn’t mean others don’t - I don’t support lgbtq books in the children’s room, and depending on the book, in the teen room - but not all libraries should be shut down bc if one genre
That sounds like let’s get rid of guns bc they kill ppl

Their property tax renewal (95% of their budget) comes up in 2023. Let's see if this is their hill to die on. I voted no last time since they didn't offer anything I couldn't find for free on the internet (including dirty pictures).

Their must be an alter boy in the corner of the room that caught the priest’s attention.
He's a Protestant pastor, not a Roman Catholic Priest.

I plan on voting no, and suggesting to everyone that I know to do the same.

Shocker
He's Protestant Pastor, brosef. One of yours. He's not a Roman Catholic Priest.
All of you fools thinking that you have a "gotcha" against Catholic Priests, LOL - He's a Protestant Pastor !!

To be fair it isn’t hard to come up with a gotcha for that

Those people were brought in from elsewhere and got there early to take over the room. That’s not St. Tammany at least not Mandeville and Covington.

Yeah priests are too busy molesting kids and helping each other hide it to show up to a town hall meeting.
