I'm sure plenty would agree if they were ever put in a situation where a cop completely ignored any law or rational thought while dealing with them.
Plus, so many people either think they're perfect law abiding citizens who won't ever have to worry about dealing with police. And hell, some people actually fit that bill.
It's hard to get people to care about things that don't affect(or effect, hell idk) them at all.
