Are the protesters fully weaponized and in armored trucks or is that the police?
What's funny about all of this, is the fact that the ones on air (media and crowd) at night are saying how much they hate the police and complaining about the militarization of the police, yet they are pro Obama. Obama is eating this up as he is all for it.
I think they should come in with a heavy hand, but I can't see the need for the military type equipment either.

Well to their defense, they only voted for him because he is black.

I agree, he's the one building up the DHS and the Postal Service and, of all groups, the Social Security Administration? He's just sitting there in Washington looking at his TV like

And here is it is. Wanna bet that somehow the admin is behind it... this all somehow reminiscent of all the protesting going on against the finance stuff (without the violence, of course).
Someone is behind this...

Save this shite for the poli board.

My guess? None.
No, he won't. IF the cop's story is true, FPD could have defused the situation too with an initial simple release to the media that a "Ferguson police officer was involved in a fatal shooting with a robbery suspect." Didn't have to be accusatory and wouldn't have been seen as smearing if it were immediate. Would have kept the out of towners away and the anger levels would have subsided quicker.

Whatever. True is true.

It was leaked late in the evening that the police have about 12 witnesses who largely corroborate the police's statement.
Ruh Roh... This was mentioned a few days back. That the DA had witnesses corroborating the officers story, but the DA told them not to speak to anyone, because it would lead to trouble.

They've already admitted to sending federal agents in to advise the protesters on their tactics.

It's banned in warfare. This is perfectly legal.
Just trying to make sure I'm understanding. Are we talking about tear gas? That it's banned against combatants in war but we can use it against US citizens? Or are we talking about something else?

Did the klan get involved in anything last night?

Exactly. Also, people on this board have stated that you can't blame the police department and mayor's office for the actions of looters and rioters. If that's true, then you can't blame Johnson.

I'm not sure anyone around him will ever acknowledge any other version of events no matter what the evidence says.
I think this is true of some on both sides of the equation unfortunately.

You mean besides drive the armored vehicles and shoot the tear gas?

the dozen witnesses they are talking about was the "media" they had to shelter when the protesters opened fire.
That is not what her tweet says at all.
She says it is about the cop's (singular)version of the shooting.
