I admit that this is the first night that I've watched any of this live. I've followed the thread from the beginning.
Most of us know that it's a big deal and that things are getting crazy and there's lots of interest, but really, how the frick is this a big thing?
That dude that was just on was talking about infiltrators and all kinds of bullshite.
Really, frick this story. Racism is a real thing, and it affects black people all the time, but this isn't the kind of thing that helps.
Only people who can fix racism are white people. Racial profiling needs to stop, and trusting black people needs to happen sooner rather than later.
Let's just admit that white people cause most of these problems. The actions we take are the kinds of things that can suddenly and quickly set off this kind of situation. And then Mark O'Mara shows up talking about nonsense, and he's basically the last person you want talking about a black victim.
Listen up, white people. It's ridiculous to spend time on anything else until we work to take the pressure off of black people to "prove" that they aren't the problem.
I know we can do this if we even try to get off our fricking high horse and just behave like some reasonable people. "Oh, there's a guy with a jug" so now the white people get all upset and the black guy says they're infiltrators.
Never before have we had this kind of unrest with this degree of coverage. This is the perfect time to address our racial divides and fix things.
Get off your arse and do something.
