Can someone explain why the autopsy results are important? Were people upset because they thought cops shot him in back?

I think there's been some confusion here. Witness have stated shots were possibly fired in the car, brown ran away, more shots fired, Brown then Turns around, holds his hands up, and then more/fatal shoots are fired
Witness saying he turned around to surrender vs charge the officer will be the key sticking point

Two witnesses said the cop stood over him and fired into him twice while he was laying on the ground. They may have some other problems with their testimony.
