RAd. I connect rioting to spontaneous protesting as being natural ... as casper has already confirmed. I defend my position based on what I have already witnessed in the "old" part of your description of me.

So everything I say is completely accurate and you RA me because you can't handle the truth. Perfect.

Honest question. Outside of Shugg, does anyone posting in here still believe that he was shot execution style, as he was raising his hands in surrender?

For the record, I personally don't based on what I've seen and read. Not saying I know for certain. Just curious about what others believe.

My 16yr old son recently got his drivers license. He drives my car from time to time.

I had the same talk I hear on CNN with him

If you get pulled over, It is Yes Sir and No Sir. You do as he asks, no sudden moves.
And he is white.

yep as i said yesterday

basically, watch the video from the scene, ems does show up. obvious death only requires a 4 lead to confirm pulselessness, afterwards the medic calls the coroner or doctor in charge and lets him know, coroner comes out and retrieves the body (after crime scene is investigated and released by police)

Do I think it's possible? Yes.

Do I think it's likely? No.

Do we decide whether or not to prosecute or investigate because something is likely to have happened? No.

Do you think it's likely that he got 35 feet away and turned, taunted the armed police officer and then charge him?

How many people, including officers, would be killed and/or injured in this scenario?

No idea. More than none, less than a multitude.

And yes I know all of you think the looters are "savage animals" who deserve to die

"Deserve" is such a strange word.
It means nothing. It's action and reaction. The morality of it is for the gods to decide.
People die. Far fewer have died in recent history than in past history.

This is what occurred last night. There's only so much citizens can do but many guarded businesses, put out fires, ect to keep things contained.

I applaud this. It takes ammo away from those who paint all those down there as the same.
The decent folks need to strike back against the looters.

There are people of all races, creeds, and colors who are inherently bad.

I have a theory on societal distillation.

The bad only multiply in the absence of a disposal method.

In history, this has been sending them to work, to war, or to a colony.

I never believed that. At first, my initial thought was that, because he was unarmed, the shooting may have been questionable. That still may be the case.

I just can't understand how/why the police department and mayor's office had/has been so incompetent in handling this situation.

Maybe EMS was busy with another call. I'm not sure if EMS uses a "triage" type system to dispatch services or if it is more of a "first come, first serve" basis. Maybe GEAUXmedic can shed some insight?

not sure, it's beginning to look like, the girl who's friends with Cop, might have more truths than what were getting from locals.

One person has already busted a myth by locals, by admitting in the video that Michael did in fact come back at the cop. Witnesses said he ran away. On this video, it's being talked about by the witnesses. A lot of what she said has been verified by the witnesses.

Also, there are supposedly 2 witnesses who have talk to the Prosecutors, and have been told to lay low till their needed to give their story.

So, really, it's looking like the Cop might of been justified. Still don't know. But the 6-8 shots is where i have a problem, why??

Why does can not mention that perhaps a culture change in needed among African American culture? They seem to keep blaming the police. What about a culture that sees prison as a rite of passage and police as the enemy.

I don't think he is concerned with the looters/rioters not being subject to violence. I think he is concerned with restoring peace so that the amount of damage/looting is minimized, not so that the looters are protected.

LMAO Yes his postings this week have been all about maintaining the peace with no hyperbole at all. So unlike the guy on a first name basis with everyone at the State Ethics Commission.

Have no idea. The storyline has changed too many times on both sides. I don't know what to believe anymore quite frankly. Guess I'll wait for either the next new twist or will wait for a more thorough/formal release of what happened. Get the full version from the cop. Get the full version from the witnesses. Even with what we have heard, we haven't heard any of those people's FULL versions.

well he could've still been running toward the cop until the final head shot

But I wish he'd have gotten back in his car and pursued them and possibly avoided a fatality

been doing that since i was in my early teens. My parents taught me respect. Even when County was being jackasses, it was yes sir and no sir.

Our car always went home scott free from tickets. The others who felt they needed to show their man hood and mouth off, got beer tickets, trespassing ,etc. Showing the Authority respect has always worked for me.
