Even when it was released they handed packages to the media. They didn't go into much detail at the presser or answer any questions. Just a quick timeline of events and they let the media go through the docs and video. They let the media connect the dots and run with it and came back to answer questions 2 hours later.

The investigation is still ongoing. Have you prejudged the result of it now? Weird.
In contrast, I believe all this information should have been released on Saturday. It would have saved millions of dollars and not substantially changed the investigation.

Sounds odd but really anything they do is going to be scrutinized so they let the media start talking first. That way they can't get blamed for spinning it. I get it. Somewhat.
