I think that doesn't fit with the evidence. He lays in the street 35 feet away. Police agree that he was shot more than once. It would be hard for him to have been shot while he's at the car with a shot that can be determined as fatal and then get shot several (or 7) more times and end up 35 feet away.

I don't know the evidence, was just trying to provide a touch of new info

Laughed.

It's like the guy telling everyone he's an alpha male. He's the last one I worry about because the real alpha male never announces it and has already knocked me the frick out.

Not a problem. I'm guessing Western Journalism is just a little late to the party. And probably isn't being careful with how they're phrasing it.

Well the addition that the kid was shoot fatally IN the car is WAY different than what the "witness" said

And way different than the official statement from LE.

If you take the two witness accounts that we have heard and the statements the police have made thus far. Further info could change events, but thus far:

The altercation took place through the window of the cruiser.
The initial shot came from within the vehicle.
Brown turned and ran
The officer exited the vehicle and fired another 5-7 shots

Whether the first shot was justified, who knows... But its going to be damn hard to justify the additional shots as the kid was running away and the immediate threat was neutralized.

At this point, I'd check to see if there's a scanner for the State Highway Patrol Troop C

Before I get crucified for "defending pigs," I'm not. I'm just pointing out some nuance. The "fatal shot" is the one that ultimately led to death. That shot could very well have been delivered at point 'A' but the man fell at point 'B'. Hopefully the coroner's report will clarify all of this.

just because the shot is fatal, doesn't mean it's instantly fatal.. thats the point here. with as much blood as it appeared he lost, he could have ran the 35 feet and bled out

Certainly could have... But I find it interesting the cops said "The first shot came from within the vehicle" and then also said multiple casings were found the scene.

You would think if all of the shots came at the same time and he ran and ultimately collapsed and died, that the police would have said "The SHOTS came from within the vehicle".

Not gonna get crucified. I'll defend pigs myself. Good ones at least. I love bacon.
