And St. Louis is a small town. I guarantee you that there's people who are talking about Chief Johnson saying, "That's Verna's boy. He was a good kid. I remember him playing football at McCluer." Or whatever. He's one of them. In more ways than the obvious.

More so than any cop on the Ferguson PD, in more ways than one.

Do not be surprised to see this community do a complete 180 and come together and put a halt to any outsiders coming in and acting the arse.

According to reports, Brown was with a friend at an apartment complex when the officer attempted to get out of his cruiser. The teen reportedly initiated an altercation, pushing the officer back into the vehicle and struggling to retrieve his weapon. A fatal shot was then fired within the car, police confirm.

That's the same story that we got on Sunday with the exception of "fatal shot" inside the car. I'm not sure that's even reported accurately.

I almost discounted that story as being biased for the police until i read the "about" page of that website

Well the addition that the kid was shoot fatally IN the car is WAY different than what the "witness" said and one story or the other would be easy to prove now.

Areas where the press can stage, prepare, and report, something that hasn't been provided in the previous days.

The witness has always said the first shot was in the car.

Cop opened door, hit Brown with it, slammed back into cop, cop grabbed brown, struggle, shot.

Wow and they are actually policing themselves... Some of the protestor yelling "Everyone needs to be on the sidewalk, back up"

Told ya they'll police themselves now. They just had a complete distrust of local PD. They wanted to be treated with respect and as humans. Johnson gives them all of that. The hard part will come the day that Johnson has to go home. There is such a chasm now with local LE.

Thats not what has been reported... The first shot came from within the car. Even the chief of police said "From within the car"

The kid wasn't shot inside of the car.

I think that doesn't fit with the evidence. He lays in the street 35 feet away. Police agree that he was shot more than once. It would be hard for him to have been shot while he's at the car with a shot that can be determined as fatal and then get shot several (or 7) more times and end up 35 feet away.

The fatal shot in the car can be disproved by the pictures of the kid laying in the street with no cars around.
