If that is the reason for the protest, they should be protesting the institution during the daylight hours where it matters.
I didn't know there was a time frame for protesting.
Only in daylight? What?
Any other rules of protesting we need to know about? Is there a dress code?

Reading some other forums, they may have the wrong guy again. Rumor is that this guy doesn't even work for Ferguson police.
Police confirm that Anon is out to lunch again.

However, the St. Louis County Police Department responded that the name the group posted is false. The department tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the name Anonymous released is not a Ferguson or a St. Louis County police officer.

Kind of like cops protecting each others, right?
No, completely different. Protecting criminals is not only wrong, it's foolish.
How is it completely different? You said "It is virtually impossible to separate the lawful from the unlawful when the lawful protect the unlawful."
How is saying that in regards to regular citizens looking out for/protecting each other different from "good" cops protecting the bad ones?

And I love how everyone assumes that they represent the black community.
The majority of the black community do not care one bit for Jessie ad Al. Only the white media and white community cares about their voice.

Yeah. But he's not the guy.
I'll agree with you on that. But in my mind it's because the majority of these shootings are the direct result of illegal activity to begin with. If you drive through a North Baton Rouge residential area you'll find people sitting around on corners with bottles in their hands, run down homes with trash everywhere, no one trying to improve anything in their community. In contrast, drive through middle class white neighborhoods and you'll find people maintaining their yards and homes. And where I grew up there were multiple black families who were respected because they kept the homes up, made sure their kids went to school and did their homework, and participated in the community.
Simply put, it is about choices someone makes. And how you respond to certain (unfavorable) situations will dictate the outcome of said situation. Do you tend to have a calm, measured, even friendly demeanor or do you tend to react in a defensive, antagonistic manner?
Have you everheard of the saying, "Watch your thoughts - they become your words"?
Those are some very good words to live by.

Yeah they had rules on time, where to stand, how to act, and when it was to end.

All the Ferguson PD were instructed to delete and social media accounts or strip them down as much as possible after ANON stepped in.
Some of the cops even had their families (siblings, parents, etc) delete theirs just in case.

Rumor I saw was that he worked for St. Ann PD.

Anonymous has not released to names and they both have been wrong....doubt they apologize tho.
I highly doubt if that is truly the officer in the shooting, he'd be posting on FB like that

So maybe we care a little more about race than we think we do.
There is no point in trying not to make a distinction that does exist. We profile for a reason. Why do we try to avoid the simple truth. We are able to profile because differences in race, religion, gender. etc. do exist.
Black on black crime is looked at in a different way than white on black or black on white. Cop on black crime is most definitely looked at differently than cop on white. Ever see black people protesting a cop shooting a white guy?? Ever see white people looting while their brethren protested a cop shooting a white guy??
Idealism is total equality. Reality is different groups act differently. I'm not a racist, just an honest realist. I've worked toward this racial balancing act in my working days with some success. I wish everyone else would.

we have to take the word of the best hacking collective with a voice or a police force that is under fire, which do you choose?
Though anon isn't right more than they are wrong.
