Frankly, what they need is to sit in protest in the street with the state senator front and center. Maybe alderman French too. The cops would be completely hamstrung if that happened. They're not going to shoot, tear gas or arrest either of them while on tape.

That part is weird. The guys are training their guns on specific people who have no sign of posing an actual threat.

dude, you shoulda seen earlier when they were still in the street, one of the officers raised and pointed his gun at a guy maybe 10 feet away facing him

it was interesting he kinda slowly raised it, then when he was called out for pointing it he fully raised it.. then they started yelling to pull the trigger

10 minutes prior to dispersing I would have bet lots of money that they weren't leaving . They seemed I n it for the long haul. Senator was even saying " we gonna sit here through the tear gas"

Cops are doing themselves no favors whatsover with their image. If they weren't there, what would all these people be doing? They would have gotten bored after the first night and gone home.
