I just want to know what is it that constitutes forming a new city?
The schools are off the table. Probably will never happen now that we pissed off the rest of the parish.
What will happen to businesses that are in StG that voted no? Maybe they are thinking about moving into EBR cause they can maintain the certainty of services.
How is it that big business is bailing like crazy because of the uncertainty?
There is no legitimate plan on how this city will be ran. There is too much money to risk on the uncertainty of this movement.
The “OT” seems not know their balls from their head when it comes to these issues.

Tell me that BR and Baker would vote in favor of, or at least not HEAVILY against, a St George school and I’d call you a fricking liar.
The EBRPSB and the Black Caucus would have fought that tooth and nail, along with anyone in the magnet system regardless of where they would fall in the district split.
Opportunities may or may not be lost due to this but claiming the school district is dead because of this is bullshite because the same people blocking it now were the same people blocking it before.

Brah, the school district is dead if it has to be a state wide vote, no chance. The value of racism goes both ways. They already did a national hit piece on StG. It wasn’t too far from the truth.

You need to pump the brakes a little.
First of all, it's not the statewide vote that does the school district in. It's the parish-wide vote. Secondly, you're not doing anyone any favors by calling everyone racist. You're crowding out and devaluing objective criticisms when you do that.
