This is why you tread lightly when trying to go to the OT for answers on this topic. Way too many of the pro-SG crowd around here, even from those who don’t even live in the proposed area.

What are you trying to get answers on? I think the reasons for people wanting to form STG are pretty clear. The reasons that they are unhappy with the current system are as well.

This is 100% false. The only people who said that they needed to incorporate first was Sharon Weston Broome and Patricia Smith. They were unaware that incorporation is no longer required and has nothing to do with schools.
So, if you are claiming the entire premise of incorporation was based on bad legal advice from Sharon Weston Broome then that's doesn't bode well for how you will conduct business in the future. SG will be just as screwed up as BR.
A more likely explanation is that Bodi White and the Brownings wanted to get a city going that they could control the tax dollars of, and used the schools as a pretense for doing it. The effort that was put into forming an ISD was only just enough to get media attention.
The ISD will not happen for another 10+ years and when it does it will look nothing like the boundaries of SG.

Racism is valuable? More like culture is predictable. Say what you want but "white flight" isn't just whites. Its anyone who has enough sense to look around them and determine they do not want to raise a family amongst the culture "inner city youths" bring to their neighborhood. Call it what you wantbut in the end it's just common sense.

Oddly enough, he doesn't live in the inner city
I wonder what he thinks about Zachary HS having more black kids than white yet consistently being one of the top performing schools in the area?

Which probably would have never happened.
Central people were all called a bunch of racists too when they voted to incorporate. It was just more revenue neutral for BR so not as contested.
