Sport Clips questions

I get cheap haircuts at chains, sometimes Sport Clips. It seems as though the TVs are always on ESPN, even if there are NFL or MLB games on other channels. Do they change the channel upon request for your chair?
I need to get a haircut this weekend and may go during ESPN's Gameday. Since that's an ESPN thing, do most locations get extremely busy on Sat mornings during Gameday?

I've seen them change to TNT for a basketball game for someone once so I would say ask and they should.

Don't know abobut Sport Clips but used to get snipped at Athleticuts in the 602 and they'd change the channel for you. It's not like they're on lock down or care about whats on. I had them change it from talking heads or basketball to college football plenty of times.
Also, Athleticuts would give you a beer in a coozy if you were a regular and their scalp and neck massages would lead to arousal, not embarrassment. Love me the comped hot towel.

You're pissing in the wind if you're expecting them to know that a game is on another channel and that they should change it without prompting.
If you want to watch something, just ask. They're in the service industry, they're not going to piss you off over that.

I remember when that Michigan State time loss to a 15 seed was going on and all the TVs were set to tennis. I asked them to change it and they said they wouldn't because one person wanted to watch some tennis match. Missed that shite because of some tennis douche

They don't know what games are on unless it's an NBA finals, big rivalry NCAA football, or Monday Night NFL game. Opening day of baseball one year, I sat outside at a Wild Wings and had to ask them put one of the tvs on a baseball game. I was shocked, but realized they are there to work. Just ask politely. They should accommodate.

Based on responses, sounds as though they can either change all of the channels or none. In that case, I don't think that I'd bother asking for a 20 minute haircut.
I never request a particular person but will sometimes add the shampoo and massage if they are good looking. Not sure if coincidence, but seems as though they always give me stylists that I've upgraded with in recent visits (if they are working that day).

Yea that's how it works. I took my son in one since he needed a cut and we were already in the shopping center. No one else was in there and the girl asked if he would watch Disney or Nick. She changes it to Disney Jr and he was pretty good and let her cut it. Next time my wife took him and asked but there were 3 other men in there watching sportscenter and she said it would change all the TVs if she changed it.

This topic popped into my head again while driving to work this morning. It seems like a huge flaw for Sport Clips that ALL of the TVs have to be on the same channel. That's one of their biggest selling points and shouldn't be difficult in this day and age to change individual station TVs upon request.
If I were running the company, I'd also add legendary radio clips to play in the shampoo/massage room. Things such as the at-bat from 'The Giants win the Pennant!', Kirk Gibson's homerun, etc.

This seems to be the trend for all of them since I have asked to change the channel at the one by my house and sometimes the one by my office over in LA in Gonzales. Every TV is watching what I wanted to watch which does seem weird as this is a sports themed place that during pro or college football days, might draw a diverse crowd.

Sports Clips was the worst haircut experience of my life. I had a girl who only spoke ebonics and had gold teeth, but nonetheless gave her a chance. She cut me and gave me the worst haircut ever, y five year old daughter could have done better.

I have a shaved head so I cannot speak for the actual cut, but I take my son there and every one of them wears leggings and looked like they got hit in the back of the leg with a sackful of nickles.

That sucks if true, at Athleticuts in Phoenix each TV could be adjusted separately. They were in standard def probably running off Cox.
Maybe Sport Clips has DirecTV with just one box per salon.
