We used to go to Percy Quinn a lot when I was a kid and rent cabins on the lake. My parents always mentioned that place when we went but we never tried it out. They started going when they made Percy Quinn trips after I grew up. I knew they just wanted to share that with me, that's why I agreed to go. I think I was just more annoyed because we hit an hour of traffic coming back due to construction going on. Also....we could have easily have gone to NOLA (one of the food capitals of the world) for lunch.

Lots of the old money in Mississippi left a long time ago, I'm told. A lot of the people I've talked to about it say they mostly moved east; North Carolina, mostly.

Drive from LA to Oregon on I-5 in an 18-wheeler at the restricted speed limit of 55 mph and California is tied with Texas and New Jersey for worst.
