Never made sense why someone would plant a bomb and then call and threaten

I believe the Irgun -- led by future Israeli prime minister Menachem Begin -- warned the British Army three times before finally blowing up the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in 1946.

you're an idiot. there are plenty reasons to call and report your own bomb.
terrorism.
notoriety.
media exposure.
ransom.
etc. etc.

I wasn't looking to answer your question, but give a rebuttal to your statement.
But I'll give you the easiest example.
The Motherfricking Unabomber.

From Wiki:

There are more bomb threats than incidents, with only 14 of 1,055 school incidents recorded from 1990 to 2002 being preceded by threats,[14] and an estimated 5–?10% of bomb threats involving actual bombs.[86] According to the Hunter-Howler threat dynamic, the group of people who make bomb threats is largely separate from those who attempt a real bombing, which typically occurs without warning.[16] However, in recent years, there has been a greater trend towards bomb threats manifesting as actual bombings.[87]

The song Zombie by the Cranberries was written about a bombing that killed 2 kids. I'm pretty sure the IRA called to let the police know a bomb was about to be detonated. I think it might have even been part of their normal bombing procedure to warn ahead of time.

Don’t think they call before detonating

If a bomb threat is called in by a democrat you got nothing to worry about. Now if a republican calls it in you better run like hell

Is this related to what’s going on on the political board the last 3 days?
