Driving 55 North with regularity like I used to, ole miss students driving 100+ was not uncommon at all. There are next to no cops between canton and batesville.

Mine was 135 or so in a cadillac dhs... The old mawmaw northstar edition. Those things are not fun to drive at a high rate of speed..Especially not on some backroad outside of town.

155 in my 2010 Camaro on Hwy. 90 between Slidell amd New Orleans. There is a governor that shits you down when you hit 155 (because the stock tires aren't rated for higher speeds), but that car is still pulling big time when it reaches that speed.
Haven't gotten the opportunity to get the 911 that high. Hwy. 90 is too bumpy for the Porsche suspension.
On a bike, I did 146 on myYamaha R6. It had more but I didn't push it - also on Hwy. 90.

Use to love going 50 down Hyacinth as well. Always had a bottle of sprite in my lap that was mostly rum.
Scale of 1 to 10? Eh, 8. It was 1990. MADD, if it even existed, was a joke.

None, but I did decorate the ceiling of my first car with magazine cut outs of the Sistine Chapel.

Speedometer registered 160 and then had a tick mark for 165 after that. I buried it, once and she had more.

1994 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo

Old AL 24, before they 4 laned it at about 2-3am.

It was around '95 or '96 so I was 20-21.

Pretty stupid, a skunk crosses the road in front on you going that fast and your toast. I wouldn't even take my hands off the wheel to ash my Camel. I routinely did 120-140 in that car, but going from 140-160+ seemed like adding an extra 60mph.

You couldn't fit an inflated spare in a 300ZX, much less a yeti.

God I miss that car.

193 indicated on a CBR1000RR that wasn't mine

I-140 in Knoxville aka Pellissippi Superspeedway

I was around 26 and I was pretty stupid for doing it.

No Yeti stickers, had my dragon stickers though.

Really kinda want to get a S1000RR to break 200 as a bucket list item.

I pegged the speedometer on a GSXR750 on Burbank in the early 90s as a stupid college kid.
