I don't usually eat at expensive places though.

I've never spent more than three fiddy.

But my first boss took a group of 9 to Graycliff in the Bahamas for a Presidents Club trip and dropped over $10K on meal/drinks. Followed that up by another $4k at Mesa Grill the next night. All while putting us up in rooms at the Atlantis and giving us a few hundred each for spending money each day. I was dumbfounded and how stupidly he could spend his money. Dude went bankrupt about 2 years later.

I did the Chef's stable at Commander's Palace for my wife's 40th Birthday. I think it was close to a grand for four people.
