I've had numerous Amazon envelopes delivered by Amazon just this month, so this is not entirely true.

and why are we subsidizing Amazon's shipping for Bezos? He's the wealthiest person alive.

I imagine the Amazon shipments are what keeps the USPS afloat. I can't imagine how they'd be doing if they didn't have amazon packages to ship

Literally two packages last week were delivered to the front door of the wrong apartment. Worthless the lot of them

USPS basically delivers to every address daily with all the junk mail. Probably very efficient to just drop packages to them as well. I'm sure it's cheap as heck for Amazon.

Sucks to be poor. I haven’t had this issue since the beginning of the pandemic shut downs.

USPS sucked in every town I've lived.

I wish there was a way to have a shipper blacklist/carrier incompatibility on my Amazon profile to prevent them from attempting to ship anything to me with USPS.

USPS is blacklisted on our Amazon account. Took awhile and multiple complaints every time they screwed up a delivery. My wife talked to the postmaster who said there was nothing they could do, they just couldn't handle the volume. Finally Amazon agreed to remove USPS as a carrier for our deliveries. Everything now ships with UPS.

Didn’t USPS give such a discount to Amazon that it’s contributing to the service going bankrupt?

Before this year, we had very few Prime shipments via USPS. Very few. It was always UPS or FedEx.

The grey amazon vans are on every street and in every Houston neighborhood all the time. This weekend, I ordered a product on Saturday afternoon and it was here Sunday lunch.

No issue with 'em during COVID.

Prime not living up to its agreement of two day shipping since COVID hit in most instances for me makes me poor?

It's far better than UPS here.

strange because I ordered something not from Amazon and it said it could be delivered by amazon because the USPS were using them to help with the uptick in traffic.

Even if it says don’t bend, they will bend it to fit in the mailbox.

via USPS these days? Pretty sure Amazon is screwing us by using the COVID excuse for not delivering many items within 2 days, when the real issue for delayed deliveries is rooted in their shipping via much cheaper USPS. Bastards!

For the past month or more I have gotten items they have shipped by USPS quicker than other carriers.
