...via USPS these days? Pretty sure Amazon is screwing us by using the COVID excuse for not delivering many items within 2 days, when the real issue for delayed deliveries is rooted in their shipping via much cheaper USPS. Bastards!

USPS loses fricking everything.

ETA - and why are we subsidizing Amazon's shipping for Bezos? He's the wealthiest person alive.

Anything that will fit in a mailbox comes USPS.

Before this year, we had very few Prime shipments via USPS. Very few. It was always UPS or FedEx.

Fedex doesn’t ship Amazon anymore which could be part of the change.

I got a free KitchenAid Mixer ($400 item) because of this.

Ordered from Amazon. 3 weeks later it had not arrived. Amazon gave me a refund and said if it shows up to keep it.

It arrived the next day

I've noticed the opposite. Recently everything I have ordered has been one day.

Funny. I ALYWAYS have issues with UPS, but never USPS or FedEx. I have other friends that always have issues with FedEx and never USPS or UPS.

USPS sucked in every town I've lived.

I wish there was a way to have a shipper blacklist/carrier incompatibility on my Amazon profile to prevent them from attempting to ship anything to me with USPS.

Guess it's different in different areas. I've been ordering from Amazon close to 20 years now, and a lot of packages since my first order have come via USPS.

We haven't ordered much since Covid started, so I can't comment on recent deliveries.

They've been moving a lot more with their contracted Amazon shippers now - in those big Prime vans.

I've wondered this myself. I ship a lot by USPS and get a discount. The rates are pretty damn low and I'm sure Amazon gets a much better rate than I do.

USPS is awful. My medicine comes from Charleston VA hospital and always routes through Jacksonville where it gets stuck for 4 days before finally making its way to Savannah.

I've actually been impressed with my Amazon usps shipments. Always on time and reliable.

USPS used to be their main carrier before they bolstered their own fleet. I've literally had one Amazon item out of about 40 in the last two months delivered by USPS. And only two items didn't get to me in 2 days or less (and I was notified beforehand of those issues). Not sure why you're having delays.
