Spam calls have been relentless lately. All from local numbers.

I’m in Lafayette, all calls from 337 area code. Mamou, Breaux Bridge, St. Martinville, Arnaudville, Opelousas and Duson. 5 calls yesterday and 3 so far today. This has been going on for a couple weeks now. And no I do not answer it.
God I want these people to die.

They’re spoofed local numbers because you’re more likely to answer. No one from Louisiana is calling you. Some guy called me one time and got all pissed when I told him I didn’t call him.

Definitely spoofed calls.
Mine quieted down to almost nothing for months, then last week it blew up again big time.

ive gotten some interesting text spams lately. From different numbers, but each time it's a picture of females hand holding a bottle of really nice wine. The wine and hand has been different every time but the response is always, "Helen, im surprised you didn't have my number saved". So freaking weird.

The FCC no longer gives a crap about these annoying calls. Either that or they don’t know how to tackle it via current technology.

They aren't coming from a local number. The spammer just spoofs a local area code for whoever they call.

I used to get hammered on my FtWorth area code iphone till my sister had me add apps ActiveArmor and Call Protect. Now I might get 2 calls a week, sometimes.
