I can’t believe this! The lasting economic impact this could have on the state would be game changing. We’re so back fellas.

I’m cautiously optimistic because SpaceX is too massive to get shaken down by state reps and town aldermen and whatnot. They’ll just steamroll the good ole boys.

All you have to do is look at how much the most powerful people on earth have of SpaceX in their portfolio and you know they aren't going anywhere or putting up with anything

I’m not worried about the most powerful people on earth. I’m worried about the most powerful police juror in Kaplan, La.

I'm guessing this means the I-49 extension is about to go full throttle? Or are we going to see an I-410 loop through Acadiana bypassing Lafayette?

I'm cautiously optimistic but this feels like it has the potential to be a massive shift in the trajectory of this state.

So How far are these launches usually visible? I’ll able to sit on my patio in Milton and see them roll while lighting the pit?

Being a Vermillion Parish coonass this is unexpectedly emotional for me. I can't believe it. I wish my dad were alive to see this. They're certainly saying all the right things.

You can see liftoff from the rocket from 0-60 miles away as long as you have a clear sight

Does anyone have an exact map location of this. Pretty awesome news. I didn't expect the scale of it to be that big.

We gonna have to put the boats in the water at Freshwater City and watch from offshore.

From what was said in the video of the press conference it’s seem like it’ll be near Freshwater City along the coast, which is around 7 miles SE of Pecan Island.

Btw is that launch still there? I haven’t been there in close to a decade. We used to launch my buddies Grady white there and go offshore.

Yea it's still there according to Google Earth but I'm guessing it might be going away if their intention is to build a port facility there.
