Single dads make better parents on average than single moms especially after the kids are older than about 5 years old. Yes kids need their dads in their lives. Don’t feel bad about it.

try not to judge but i judge people who bring tablets to resturants. I get it, sometime i am jealous of them having a peaceful dinner, but they won't learn how to behave in public if they are watching cocomelon everytime you go out with them.

We have a 5 year old and a 1 year old, going out to dinner is hard at this time (only due to the 1 year old), so we just limit how often we and where we go with her.

Our 5 year old has only ever looked at a personal screen to FaceTime with family members from our phones. She’s been on 10+ hour road trips with us and plays with an etch a sketch, a tonie box, or coloring books

This isn’t a bad thing. I know many people who weren’t close to their dad due to him working all the time, and many dads who later regretted missing that time with their kids.

This is also because more women today are self centered and fricking useless and the man has to pick up the slack

I love spending time with my kids. I get them to bring me beers and snacks and I get them to take the dogs out to take a shite.

soyllennial fathers

The most important job I have is to be a good father. And other than my wife there’s no one else I’d rather spend time with than my kids.

Unsure why you feel the need to call those of us who prioritize our children “soyllennial”
Do you feel guilty for ignoring your kids? Or did daddy ignore you?

Can someone explain to me why childcare goes down around 50 as expected but then back up at 60?

I do not plan on doing any childcare at 60 or beyond thanks.

“Soyllenial” is a weak term coined by weak men to insult smart men who can afford to be around their kids because they aren’t spending 80 hours a week plumbing.

Of course, the plumbers will be laughing soon as AI takes all the “smart” jobs.
