Flat roofs and pre-engineered metal buildings in South Louisiana are designed to resist uplift and high winds, not a heavy amount of snow. There will be plenty of roofs caving in, especially warehouses, big box stores, patio covers, etc.

Boomer is used by mainly white male soy boys who are waiting for their boomer parents to die so they can move out of the basement and claim the whole house.

agreed, but the way gererations act to a situation differently is what I'm saying. I find that younger gererations, when losing an argument, get emotional and start trying to drown out the other person by getting louder and talking over the other person. Like a sky screamer, or woman. Maybe he needs to identify as a woman.

Idk, when I turn on the 24 hour news it seems like all you hear are people from all age groups getting emotional and arguing over each other. Perhaps we just notice it more with younger people because younger people are typically less informed about life than older people.

FWIW, I'm a millennial and get the same gut feeling from listening to Gen Z people argue. I just try to remind myself of when I was younger and dumber.

The snow we get out west (Colorado/Idaho) is usually very different than the snow I grew up with in the northeast. Typically that heavy wet snow comes when the humidity and temps are both high.

I can clear my driveway of six inches of powder with my leaf blower.

Six inches of wet snow means I’m cleaning it up with my tractor.

Your coworker is a moron.

You never ask another man about his snow load. That’s disgusting.

Boomers do that all the time... as does GenXers(when they get out of mommas basement, Party On) As does Millennials and who ever is after.

I can tell you there was a huge difference in the snow in Denver when I lived there vs the snow I’ve had in Baton Rouge area. To me it’s a heavier, wetter snow here. What we get tomorrow may be a whole different thing though.

Sounds like he's never shoveled a driveway with 6 inches of powder or 6 inches of wet cement snow. Your back will tell you that there is a difference

Clearly he never shoveled snow. Won’t take you long to have your answer once you start shoveling

Cmon man of course it’s different, living in northeast Ohio you can tell how heavy it’s gonna be while it’s falling and you can watch it change, we’ll say oh it’s fine that’s light stuff, or man that’s gonna be heavy, yes of course depending on the atmosphere and the temperature the snow definitely changes in size and weight.
Up here if it’s staying cold you shovel or snow blow every time it snows or it builds up. Your roof should be fine as long as your attic is properly ventilated, and it decent condition.
