Are we expecting any more discrete cells passing through Caddo/Bossier/Desoto Parishes or are we just waiting for the squall line at this point?

It looks like the squall line will break up by the time it makes it to Shreveport/Bossier

Sitting up here above it listening to rain and thunder and hoping for the best. Car was supposed to go to the shop today but I wasn't taking it out of my garage to sit in the parking lot at the shop in case of hail.

I believe it. Windows are rattling. Just ran all around up and downstairs lowering blinds in case any break from debris. They are grass and bamboo so not sure how much that will help

I’ve been through many hurricanes less intense than this line.

Outside of the winds with the line, there's a chance it breaks up with more of a semi-discrete storm mode as it makes its way into extreme east TX and the state line. If that happens, the tornado threat could be higher. It remains to be seen what the storms can do in that environment.

Took out upper and lower decks at our lakehouse last year then blew all that debris into my neighbors roof gashing holes that created major water damage. Weak tornado would have done less damage.

The HRRR has shown an uptick in convection tomorrow morning across Alabama. Should this occur, the risk of damaging winds and tornadoes would be higher than previously thought. The soundings/hodographs/parameters are extremely supportive of severe weather. #ALwx

I was rewatching the video we took at peak wind, I didn’t realize our window frames were actually moving…
