That cell looked very capable. It was warned super late.

Sigtor is kind of a shite product. Watch along the gradient more than within the high values themselves. Central La, Ms line to Jackson

SPC really sucked a bag of HRRR farts today from the Texas to the Alabama state line. Pumping out MD after MD about SE LA and ignoring the "future I-14 corridor". Cells love gradients. Big cape and shear gradients through that corridor today. At least a dozen tornado warnings. Only 3 south of the Ms state line.

Very. I didn't see this one, though, and didn't spot it when I went back a tried to look.

We are staying in a mountain cabin in Gatlinburg right now. This wind is worse than any hurricane I’ve experienced. A wooden beam from the dang porch roof has fallen off and is banging around all over the outside porch and house. Pretty scared.
And we have no power.

Supposed to have 2 more hours of this…

I’m here and just lost power also. We had a window blow open about an hour ago. We were in Ida’s path so I’ve seen worse, but some of these gusts are pretty crazy.

Spann is tracking a storm that is pretty bad, headed right for us but it's not on TV because politics. Ridiculous.
