I'm at 2.38" of rain for the day and at one point a bit ago, it was coming down at a rate of over 8 inches per hr!

During severe weather, a lot of kids are safer in their school than in their single mom's trailer.

That's true but I still volunteer to go keep those single mom's safe inside their trailer. Call me a hero, I guess.

With the exception of older buildings (built to old codes) or T buildings. I've seen many T buildings that don't even have anchors.

Looks like a pretty strong cell moving onto the lakefront in Mandeville. Just had a bunch of hail, but it was small

’m generally an understanding person, but I really wouldn’t mind you putting your truck in a ditch on the way to this important Biddy practice. Humble yourself Dbag.

I’ll try to stay out the ditch on my way to Rouses. Oh wait I can’t go to Rouses b/c they closed b/c they know what’s best for me and I should stay home.

You guys are ridiculous.
Where did I say a middle school practice was so fricking important? All I said was wait to make the decision arse hats.

If you're the type of person who would go to the grocery store during a storm like this, you're exactly the target audience for "we're closing for your own good"

I appreciate your recognition that admin’s decisions will not make everyone happy and people will complain.

You and I have 2 different opinions on this matter.

Stay safe.

clouds are booking it out of the south/southeast here in Arabi.

Sky's got that weird color to it, but it's not green like the last two tornados that hit last spring

Meanwhile up nort'.

Predicting around a foot of snow here with 40 MPH winds.

That will make some nice drifts.

Looks like New Orleans will miss out on the first wave but that boundary moving into the state looks awful
