I get the "loud pipes save lives" argument. That is understandable to me.
What I don't understand is the constant need to rev the bike while it's stationary. Is there a purpose to this other than the "look at me" factor?

I ride to work once a week. Why? Stops me from saying frick it 5x a week.

Most of that type doesn't retune their bike for that exhaust. As a result, it runs like pure shite. The throttle blips stop it from killing at the lights...
